Centre for Dentistry

158a Cromwell Road, Inside Sainsbury's, London, Greater London SW7 4EJ, UK – 020 3696 4002

Had a check up and hygiene today with Dr Huda Jawad. She is professional and thorough with a caring nature and also very gentle. My teeth feel amazing after their clean. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, would recommend this practice for service and value for money.

As I am sitting at the airport ready to leave for London, and then Africa for 3 weeks, I bite into a scone, and half of a 20+ year old crown falls out. When we landed in London I went into a Boots and bought a repair kit, but I did not think it would hold for 4 weeks. I walked into this office off the street. No appointment and they took me in immediately and it was one of the BEST dental experiences ever. The dentist was so gentle, I did not even notice her work. Excellent repair, I was out within the hour. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! They saved my vacation.

NHS Dentist

355 North End Rd, Fulham, London SW6 1NW, UK – 020 7610 1110

I have visited this practice several times in the last month for various treatments. I am SO impressed by this practice. The Reception team are warm, caring and efficient. The nurses are equally kind, attentive and professional. The Dentists are superb and very talented and most professional. I highly recommend this practice. Janine

I have had other dentist, but this one I can really recommend, organised, polite, friendly and my teeth are now in perfect order, no more pain, Thank you for your patients and understanding !!!

Dentist @ W2

3-4 Norfolk Pl, Paddington, London W2 1QN, UK – 020 3773 8664

I am a new patient to the practice and am extremely impressed. I would highly recommend this service. My dentist was very thorough and made me feel completely relaxed and confident. He explained the treatment plan in detail and completed the first part of the plan swiftly and professionally. I will be returning as a regular patient as I was made to feel welcome and the practice is very welcoming and friendly. Thanks guys xxx

Very professional. The doctor explains all procedures very kindly. He took me even without the previous booking as an emergency case. It made my life so much easier.

Doctors serving the London area

London Doctors Clinic

101D, 18 Soho Square, Soho, London W1D 3QL, UK – 020 8712 9378

It's easy to make an appointment online and be seen within a few days. The doctors are professional and helpful. Take the lift to go straight to the first floor rather than waiting at the reception downstairs. However, while appointments with the doctors are reasonably priced, any other treatment is expensive. A very simple urea test cost me £200. The doctor recommended I try a cream that he gave me for £15 while saying he wasn't sure if it was easy to find at any pharmacy (I checked later and it was easy to find for £5).

Easy to find. Easy to make online appointments. Very reasonable prices compared to most. The consultancy fee is not mentioned - so the £155 is actually £210. The men's toilets- for the urine sample - are downstairs through public areas. Results are quick, staff are friendly.

The Fulham Medical Centre

446 Fulham Rd, Fulham, London SW6 1BG, UK – 020 7385 6001

I'm not normally inclined to write reviews but I had to on seeing the ridiculous and inflammatory comments people have left below. This is a hugely busy surgery working in the heart of London, under the financial constraints we know effect all areas of the NHS. Yes, it is tricky to get an on-the-day appointment, but that isn't a problem exclusive to this surgery; that is the symptom of a hugely over-stretched, free public health service. I have pressed re-dial 80+ times on my phone at 8.30am to get my son an appointment, but once you get through and secure your appointment, the doctors are highly experienced, extremely pleasant individuals who really do go above and beyond the call of duty for their patients. Dr Pearson, in particular, is absolutely incredible and once emailed a prescription to a pharmacy close to where I was on holiday to make sure I got the medication I needed. I have always found the reception staff to be perfectly nice but they are understandably stretched at times. This really is an excellent surgery working in a crowded and very mixed area and it doesn't cost a penny for an appointment!

London Doctors Clinic Private GP

1906A, Portland House, Bressenden Pl, Westminster, London SW1E 5RS, UK – 020 8712 9378

Lovely doctors. Very helpful and understanding. Last minute appointments available easily

This is an exceptional service for people with a busy schedule or limited time in London. I am an expat and need support in managing my diabetes. The LDC has provided a fast turn around on test results, follow-up advice and issue of prescriptions, at very reasonable prices.

NHS and Private Hospitals in SW3 and throughout London

Royal Brompton Hospital

Sydney St, Chelsea, London SW3 6NP, UK – 020 7352 8121

I have been admitted twice for surgery at RBH and each time their service is amazing. Both outpatients and inpatient care delivery are of high standards, the staff and consultants were easy to talk to and responsive to my queries and concerns. Now that my heart is fixed, I might take on the joke of my lovely surgeon, Dr. Michael Rigby, to join the London marathon.🤞🏻Thank you so much to all the staff of Royal Brompton Hospital!

My 3 years old son had sleeping study at this hospital on Monday 12/02/2018. It was my first visit. We received an excellent care by doctors and nurses. Nurse's particaly were amazing and they have done everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much for your amazing work. Well done!

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

369 Fulham Rd, Chelsea, London SW10 9NH, UK – 020 3315 8000

Excellent customer service. Staff are professional and very helpful. They do care about the patients. I visited emergency once during pregnancy and once after - was interviewed by the same man - he was very helpful, seeing I have little baby with me asked me to wait in separated area not to expose the baby to all the germs in main waiting room. I also gave birth in this hospital and care I received in birthing centre then labour ward, following Simpson unit and postnatal was just the highest standard. I had complications during the labour but they made me feel safe and decreased my suffering to the very minimum. My husband was treated on several occasions in London's best private clinics but C&W was even better. I was very well looked after. Thank you all at C&W.

Yesterday I cut myself badly enough to warrant a trip to A & E. There was a bit of a wait, as it was VERY busy for the day and time (but I was just happy to have an A & E that was open and well run!). However, all staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the waiting room itself was clean, modern, airy and comfortable. The young Dr that helped me was wonderful! He was cheery, confident and very kind. He patched me up and filled me with confidence that things would be fine. Well done him and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital!

The Lister Hospital

Stunning Service from The Dentist Alexandra, it is obvious that she is at the top of her profession. I hate trips to the dentist but this one was by far the best I have ever had. She put me at ease and explained everything in detail that she was doing. Amazingly professional and friendly. This is now my local dentist for sure, very happy to have found it. Thank you.

I had an appointment with Dr Vila and he was really friendly and professional. He let me choose the music, and explained me all the steps of the treatment very clearly, he made me feel really comfortable. Definetly recommendable!!

Travel Clinics

London Travel Clinic - Victoria

19, Bressenden Pl, Westminster, London SW1E 5RS, UK – 020 3432 1381

Had my vaccinations here today; I usually hate jabs but had a great experience. The nurse was upbeat, caring and encouraging. Was out after 20mins. Don’t believe the bad reviews!

Outstanding! I had an appointment booked with London Travel Clinic London Bridge. Due to train cancellations I called the number available online. Quick answer and they immediately changed the time and the place of my appointment for what was suitable for me. The lady who I spoke with was lovely and explained me exactly how to get there. Even with lots of roads closed around the place , I easily got there with her instructions. Picadilly Place, Portland Building, opposite to Zizzi Italian restaurante. Once there the process was formal and safety was the first. Considering the location of the building it makes all sense that strict rules of security are to be followed. Identification signature and ID cards in use. Clear instructions given by the reception: 19th floor, turn right. Once there a lady came and introduced me with the clinic. In any moment I felt lost or not knowing where to go. The phone was constantly ringing but all calls were happily answered. The nurse was really professional explaining the dangers of my journey and providing all information needed. Safety - outstanding Caring - outstanding Cleaning - outstanding Infection control - outstanding Be aware that when you google the name of this clinic another clinic comes up because the names are similar. Make sure you are calling the right one. Yesterday using google I ended up first calling the wrong number and it was a unpleasant situation.

London Travel Clinic

18 Soho Square, Soho, London W1D 3QL, UK – 020 3432 1381

Booked it in the evening and went the day after at lunch time, so super convenient for last minute jabs! In the Oxford street branche there is an amazing nurse, Agnese, which assisted me and helped me to relax easily so for the first time I didn’t feel like I was going to faint. Easy to find location, very clean and nice. It’s worth the money.

Definitely pricey, but very flexible and open late. Friendly staff, that clearly explain the process for each vaccination and answer all your questions. Conveniently located in the centre of London and less than a 5 minute walk from Tottenham Court Road underground station

Nomad Travel Clinic & Travel Store

11 S Molton St, Mayfair, London W1K 5QP, UK – 01341 555061

I visited the Nomad Travel clinic today for Antimalarial medication. The clinic/store could do with a little smartening up but apart from that it was a positive experience all around. I was advised on the phone of the cost of the medication and the consultation fee with the nurse (£15) but I wasn't told about the medicine charge (£10), hence the 4 star review. The clinic also has a small store with useful travel essentials.

Really could not have been any better - recommend 100%. Super knowledgeable and friendly nurse. Even advised me against an unnecessary vaccination as I was already covered.

The Junction Health Centre

The Arches, Clapham Junction Station, 5-8 Grant Rd, London SW11 2NU, UK – 0333 200 1718

The reception staff are very nice (to me at least) and it's a very spacious environment. There are some very unsympathetic and condescending female nurses here, so I just ask to see a male nurse / doctor when I come. Yes, there is a long wait. But that's to be expected from a walk-in centre. My biggest gripe is that every time someone comes here, they have to complete a form before they're even placed in the queue to see a doctor / nurse. This basically means that fast writers at the back of the queue can easily get to see someone before slower writers who were nearer the front of the queue. Surely a ticketing system would be much fairer. And the automated machine just inside doesn't work.

Bupa Health Centre London Kensington (Cromwell Hospital)

Bupa Cromwell Hospital, 18a Pennant Mews, Kensington, London W8 5JN, UK – 020 7244 4871

Clean and organized.

Balance Oriental Health Centre

33 Old Brompton Rd, Kensington, London SW7 3HZ, UK – 020 7589 2292

I don't know what to say.. it seems that all acupuncture centers in that area try to charge you more than what you ask.. they will sell you expensive chinese herbs or massages..However, I feel better today on my left shoulder, this is a fact. But they told me they don't do both sides of a patient when doing accupuncture. and the doctor puts much less needles than all the other doctors I've been to. My advice: be careful of what you pay and keep track of your sessions if you buy a package. The rest is only a matter of efficiency.

Went there after seeing their poster for laser hair removal. 80% gone so far I would say (after 4 sessions) I still have 2 more and believe it would be gone. Price is really good for Alexandras laser. Take one star off for the room was a bit small.

Accupuncture

Dr & Health Acupuncture Clinic

637 Fulham Rd, Fulham, London SW6 5UQ, UK – 020 7371 7773

I suffer with heavy hay fever and various allergies. For years I am using different antihistamine tablets and sprays which never really helped. Blocked and runny nose, lost sense of taste and smell and difficulties breathing resulting in inconvenience through out all day and bad nights sleep. After a long search for acupuncture my friend recommended Dr. Fan to me and after initial talk I booked 10 acupuncture sessions. First time in years symptoms has decreased or disappeared. I started to sleep better and I could finally smell and taste, my everyday life has improved. I am recommending Dr. Fan to anyone who suffers as much as I did for years and years. Thank you Dr. Fan

Amazing Acupuncturists!! They know exactly what they are doing. Dr Bu knew straight up what was wrong and knew how to treat me. I felt 100% better after my first session.. I cannot recommend this place enough and Dr Bu and Dr Fan are now treating my whole family! Also great value for money.. 45min-1hour acupuncture session is around £40 and includes cupping and Chinese massage. I feel so relaxed after. Highly recommend x

I started seeing him on my first pregnancy - throughout my first trimester- and now I'm back again (currently 14 weeks pregnant) and I can assure that his work is absolutely fantastic. He can make the pain go away in just one session and I feel so well after the sessions. Apart from being great at what he does, he's reliable and kind. Can't recommend him enough!

John is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with fertility acupuncture. He is also such a nice person. Would highly recommend!!

I've recently visited Chiro London in Fulham and I'm very pleased with the practice. Dr David is great! I love the education, professionalism and a client-focused approach in his treatment. I felt a significant difference straight away after my first session. The best thing is that you not only feel physicaly better after the treatment but the enthusiasm and empowerment coming from Dr David and the rest of the staff makes you feel like you're on top of the world! Inspirational! Thank you! Highly recommend them.

I am so impressed with Chiro London. All of the staff are lovely and Dr Dave is an expert, talked me through everything so I understood and after only two visits I am feeling the difference, can't wait for my next visit already. Never knew how much better I would feel and would recommend to anyone, drop by and see!

ProBack Clinic Victoria

Flat 4, Evelyn Mansions, Carlisle Pl, Westminster, London SW1P 1NH, UK – 020 7976 6648

I saw Pro Backs ad in the Metro and, after no success with "normal routes" What I liked was initial the Xray/consultation option so at least I would know what was causing my problem. After that I was easily persuaded to take the full course in June. Initially I was disappointed with the improvement but in the last 2/3 weeks ( i go twice a week) I have started to see genuine signs of improvement. I think we are making progress. My personal consultant, Dan, is charming and every caring. During the process I managed to pull a muscle in my side and he helped to "mend" that too and that improved in only a few days. I still have some way to go and looking forward to the next review at the end of the month. Yes its expensive but I think its proving worth the investment. Thanks PROBACK

After traveling from from London to Hong Kong and back in the same week, I developed sciatica. Suffering with sharp pain and debilitating sleeplessness for a month, I called ProBack. I booked in for an assessment and x-ray. It was an easy decision to undergo a treatment plan. After the first two sessions, my pain was gone and I was on the road to recovery. I highly recommend ProBack especially due to the professional and empathetic team at the London City Clinic. Your health is your wealth.

Such friendly and helpful receptionists who always offer a smile! My experience so far has been nothing but positive – definitely recommend.

Was recommended to Fulhmam backcare from a friend when I had first arrived from Australia. Both Charlotte and Sam are such great chiropractors and have helped my back immensely! On top of that, the receptionists are all so friendly! Highly recommend :)

My toddler has eating/food issues and these are improving all the time. Could not recommend such a lovely lady enough.

Nelsons Pharmacy

87 Duke St, Mayfair, London W1K 5PQ, UK – 020 7629 3118

I highly recommend Andrew Ward RSHom as an expert classical homeopath. I have learned from him over the last 10 years as a teacher and supervisor of my more difficult cases here in Vancouver, Canada. I regard him as a highly trained professional. His level of experience and expertise in classical homeopathy is hard to match!

Nelsons is an icon in London. Around for hundreds of years, it will have whatever you need in homeopathic formulations. If you are new to homeopathy, you may be surprised as to how efficient it is for a majority of ills. There is a clinic there that you can go to as well and the odds are likely that they can assist you when traditional western medicine has not provided an answer. They can also formulate a prescription tailored just for you. Give them a try...there is no downside in doing so! The worst you could do is to get well-

Good to know that there are still companies that put the customer first!! Would definitely recommend.

I walked in on the off chance that this opticians could fit me in as i was going off on a business trip and had misplaced my computer glasses, within minutes the young man who i presumed to be the manager got me an appointment even though the store was busy. The eye examination was extremely thorough and the optician showed me a picture of my retina and i was very impressed with the high tech equipment they used. She recommended eye drops which have clearly made a difference within a week! I couldn’t recommend this store highly enough to anyone who would like an efficient and honest service. By far the best opticians in chelsea!

We should come here once a year to have an eye test. I would say that the eye test here is very good indeed. Not only checking the eyesight, but also testing orther visual impaired. Glasses here are cheap. Currently most of them are buy one get one for free.

The staff are really good and helpful. I've been looked after since I had my glasses the first time. Tarik most specially was really nice and friendly. I had a new pair of glasses that comes with a prescription sunglasses under their buy one take one deal and I love them!.

After the third consultation with Elyse something has shifted. The pain is almost gone and my range of movement has greatly improved. After each session I have felt deeply relaxed and pain free. I am so impressed with the results of her work with me. Her ability to tune into my body shows great awareness and sensitivity. I cannot recommend her highly enough as an osteopath. Last but not least, Elyse is warm and reassuring with a calm, healing presence. Susan J

Fulham Osteopaths is the solution ! I booked an appointment after having been recommended by a dear friend. Immediately I felt at home and had a warm welcome. I’ve been treated by Melinda, who was the warmest, sweetest and most caring osteopath I have ever met. She didn’t see the individual problem, but instead looked at the whole picture and so all of my body and through some gentle treatment and explanation as she went along, she simply fixed me! I remember limping into the practice that morning and walking out straight upright and pain free. I was impressed with the whole approach and immediate results and also that they didn’t try to sell me another booking at all, instead Melinda just gave me a warm hug and wished me to stay well. Will definitely and wholeheartedly recommend Fulham Osteopaths to anyone who is looking for treatment by safe, competent and honest hands.

Clapham North Art Centre, 26-32 Voltaire Rd, London SW4 6DH, UK – 020 7622 6892

I have been receiving treatment from Elizabeth for over two years now and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She is attentive, knowledgeable and is always giving me tips to reduce and prevent injuries. I look forward to my appointments as I know I’ll be walking out of the treatment room feeling as good as new!

Elizabeth is truly Amazing!! I have been seeing Elizabeth for preventative osteopathic treatments for over 4 years, with great results. I cannot speak highly enough of Elizabeth as an osteo and her holistic view to treatment, but we have a great laugh too!

Physiotherapy in SW3

Central Health Physiotherapy @Chelsea

Royal Hospital Chelsea Royal Hospital Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 4SR, UK – 020 7404 6343

A miracle On my first visit I hadn't put a bare foot on the floor for 2 months due to a severely broken ankle. Chris at Central Health Chelsea took a great deal of time to assess the injury and work out a personal recovery plan for me. He encouraged me to take a step or two and gave me specific exercises. On my second visit 10 days later thanks to his encouragement and skill I was able to walk without the boot, and the 2 crutches. There's still a way to go but I did not expect such rapid and sustained progress. Thank you Chris.

My wife had a pretty horrendous and complicated skiing injury which has resulted in her requiring two surgeries and intense physio. She picked central health Chelsea as there is a hydrotherapy pool. Jane is an amazingly dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly physio. She has helped my wife with the physio therapy but also looks out for how she is doing emotionally to ensure that she remains motivated and determined to help hasten her recovery. My wife is very happy with the services and the progress she has made. We (and the surgeons!) never expected the recovery she has made. Keep up the good work!

Six Physio Parsons Green

699 Fulham Rd, Fulham, London SW6 5UJ, UK – 020 7371 7666

The difference between a good physio and a great physio simply cannot be underscored enough. Six seem to only hire great physios. Ask for Francesca - it will change your recovery and when you're an athlete the time it takes to get back on your feet makes an enormous difference.

Booked in, at quite short notice, for a deep tissue massage with Rebecca. All the way through the massage, she was great - explaining what she was doing, and how it would be beneficial, as well as taking care to fully work into the (incredibly tight!) muscles on my back. Left, feeling as if I was walking with much more ease, and with recommendations for exercises and stretching to do to continue the work that she'd started. Definitely recommend!

Physiotherapy London (Marble Arch & Canary Wharf)

21 Bryanston St, Paddington, London W1H 7AB, UK – 020 7493 7570

I was recommended Physiotherapy London by my personal trainer who classes them as the best Physio in London. After my visit I can also concur with this opinion. The service was professional and Marinus my physio was extremely knowledgable. Not only giving me practical exercises to take away but also helping me to work through mental blocks that have previously slowed my rehabilitation. First class experience.

After one session with Physiotherapy London, I was further forward than I had been after a year’s treatment with the NHS. My physio was clear and utterly professional; firstly by listening and questioning to establish my medical history and symptoms then, by explaining the treatment plan and prognosis. I was referred to a specialist podiatrist immediately and was given a set of exercises tailored to address my injuries. I left feeling optimistic, well cared for and with my pain greatly reduced after massage and strapping to my foot. I would thoroughly recommend Physiotherapy London for both their ability to target and deal with my injury and, for their friendly and professional approach.

Dr Mike McPhillips

2 Lower Sloane St, Chelsea, London SW1W 8BJ, UK – 020 7245 1199

Mike is (or can be) incredibly honest in both his expression and approach. He’s outstandingly perceptive, and genuinly caring in his own way. The diagnosis from him was life changing. As a highly critical individual, I don’t think he has failed any of his descriptions on his website. To the one star reviewers: It’s funny how people forget doctors are humans too, and they don’t have the duty to say what you want to hear and give you your expected reactions. You don’t need to have a functioning brain to see Mike, but you need to at least have one🤷‍♀️.

Dr Mcphillips ,is a very experienced and understanding doctor, and has a kind aproach to individual issues, and l believe cares about people as individuals in his approach in a holistic manner, would not hesitate recommending .Michael W.Sheffield.Yorkshire.

Psychotherapy around London

The Hudson Centre for Psychotherapy and Recovery

13 John Prince's St, Marylebone, London W1G 0JR, UK – 020 7493 4488

Warm and friendly staff. It was scary to open up and come into therapy at first but it was so easy, comfortable and non-judgmental here. Thank you!

I worked with Robert last year during a turning point in my life - he helped me look at things from a new perspective, have trust in what I believed already, and gave me tools that I could apply to my life. After several sessions with Robert I ended up leaving my job that was making me unhappy, and fixing some of the broken relationships in my life. I feel I made a lot of progress in the sessions I had with Robert, truly life changing.

Reflexology around London

Step in Reflexology

8 Rupert Ct, London W1D 6DY, UK – 020 7434 3228

I’ve been coming here for a decade. All these negative reviewers need to get a grip, it’s £45 for a fantastic massage in central London, don’t expect a posh hotel spa with aromatherapy. This place is clean, the staff are great, the prices are cheap, the waits are short and no booking needed. £45 (+ a well deserved £5 tip every time) and after an hour you leave feeling refreshed. I get 15 mins back downstairs and then 45 minutes feet upstairs, great combo. The wooden sticks they sometimes use are proper reflexology massagers to get to the pressure points.

Great safe massage feet and body. Trusted staff. Excellent prices. Simple place, no frills but best in soho by far.

Rupert French Reflexology at Bodydoctor

119 Eaton Square, Belgravia, London SW1W 9AL, UK – 07779 789939

Rupert is professional, calm and the environment he creates is peaceful, uncluttered and clean. The sessions are soothing, alleviate pain and I leave with a clear head and calm mind.

Reflexions The Reflexology Shop

250 King's Rd, Chelsea, London SW3 5UE, UK – 020 7349 9475

Great for a quick massage. The therapist are very good!

I just wanted to drop you a note to compliment one of your amazing staff. Her name is Rashida and she saved my life yesterday. I came in not able to turn my head either way and in excruciating pain. Over the course of a week I have been to an osteopath medical doctor and prescribed drugs without any relief. After an hour massage I was much better and today I am 99%!!! She totally knows what she’s doing and has a very good bedside manner. Please tell her good job!! Thank you Scott
